Originally from New Albany, Indiana, Abby moved to Louisville in 2011 after earning her Master’s in Elementary Education. After several years of teaching, Abby made the lifechanging decision to trade the classroom for the courtroom. Driven by a desire to advocate for others, she enrolled in law school and, in 2017, earned her J.D. from the
University of Louisville.

Abby began her litigation career as a trial attorney at the Louisville Metro Public Defender’s Office where she managed a high-volume caseload while fighting for the rights of indigent defendants across Jefferson County.

Today, Abby specializes in family law, representing clients in divorce, custody, child support, and domestic violence cases. Licensed in both Kentucky and Indiana, she is known for balancing fierce advocacy with deep empathy for the sensitive nature of family transitions. Her dedication earned her recognition as a “Top 10 Family Law Attorney in Kentucky” by Attorney & Practice Magazine in 2024.

Outside the courtroom, Abby enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Murphy. You might also spot her on stage participating in local community theatre.
