Catherine’s dedication to family law is rooted in her own family’s history, sparked by the loving connection she witnessed when her aunt adopted her cousin. Seeing their story unfold inspired her to pursue a career centered on supporting and advocating for families in need.

Catherine was born and raised in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati. She then returned home and earned her J.D., also with honors, from the University of Louisville School of Law.

 Throughout her career, Catherine has managed a wide variety of complex family law matters, including divorces involving intricate asset division, and high-conflict litigation regarding child custody and welfare. 

At our firm, she plays a vital supportive role, leveraging a sharp proficiency in legal research and writing alongside her expertise in managing complex discovery processes and analyzing financial documents to build a rigorous foundation for each case. 

Catherine recognizes the importance of family relationships and is committed to approaching every case with empathy and understanding. Outside of the office, Catherine is a wife and mother of two with a very close-knit extended family. In her free time, she finds joy in gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family and pets—two large dogs and three cats. She is also a lifelong musician.
